Mr. Philip Neyt is Chairman of the Belgian Association of Pension Funds. In addition he is Vice-President Public Affairs, Vice-President Mergers and Acquisitions and General Manager Pension Fund at the Belgacom-Group. He began his career at the University of Antwerp where he lectured on finance and financial planning. Mr. Neyt has a master’s degree in economics and political and social sciences from the Universities of Leuven and Brussels.

Mr. Jean-Paul Servais is Chairman of the Financial Services and Markets Authority, a.o. the Belgian supervisor of pension funds and occupational pensions. He also presides the "Conseil Supérieur des Professions Economiques", the Belgian public oversight body for supervision of certified public accountants. Mr. Servais is member of the executive board of IOSCO and chairs various regulatory working groups on European level. He is lecturer at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

Mr. Leonardo Sforza is responsible for the relations with the EU institutions and research at Aon Hewitt, the leading global provider of risk management and human resources solutions. Leonardo assists companies and international organizations in addressing legal and policy developments related to people management practices. In the field of pension Leonardo has been contributing to the improvement of the EU regulatory framework and to its practical implementation. He has been leading  the recent feasibility study on the creation of a pan-European pension fund for researchers promoted by the European Commission.

Henk Becquaert, Director Finacial Services and Markets Authoirty (FSMA)

Graduated from the Free Universty of Brussels in Business Engineering, Mr. Henk Becquaert has been member of the Belgian Federal Planning and has worked on the staff of serveral ministers. Since 2005 he has been working for the CBFA, recently reorganized and renamed FSMA.

Mr. Thierry Verkest is Executive Director of Aon Hewitt in Belgium and Luxembourg. As a senior consulting actuary, Thierry has contributed to the creation of pan-European solutions for pension schemes of multinational companies.
